Smiling Tom's Easy Holiday Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
2-lb bag of Brussels sprouts, outer leaves removed, rinsed, dried* and halved lengthwise
¼ C organic extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil
3 T organic grade B maple syrup, raw honey or agave nectar
1 t unrefined sea salt, or to taste
1 t dried oregano (or 1 T fresh) or other herb of choice pinch of each: cayenne, cloves, cardamom (optional)
¼ t cinnamon (or 1/2 t if you looove cinnamon)
½ t vanilla
1/8 t freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
1) Mix together all ingredients listed after the Brussels sprouts in a small bowl.
2) Put Brussels sprouts in a medium-size bowl, pour sauce over them and mix with your hands.
3) Spread out on cookie sheet or oven-safe skillet, cut side down. Roast for 10 minutes. Serve.
